Welcome
to Connecticut’s Old State House! We are pleased to announce our school programs for the fall of 2009. New activities and tours continue to be developed. Please bookmark www.ctoldstatehouse.org and check back for updated programmatic information, resources, and pre‐visit materials!

Would you like to be included on our mailing list? Do you have an idea for how we can better serve you? Please contact us at ctoldstatehouse@cga.ct.gov and write “school updates” in the subject line. We hope you enjoy your visit!

All groups should make reservations in advance.
Please make your reservations at least three weeks in advance. Groups of ten or more that arrive at the door without advance reservations may be turned away if the museum is too crowded to accommodate them. If they can be admitted, they must pay full admission fees rather than the reduced group rate.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled visit.

School groups must have at least one adult chaperone for every ten students.
Chaperones must remain with students at all times and actively supervise the visit. One adult for every ten students will be admitted at no cost. There will be a fee for additional adults.

Connecticut’s Old State House opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. The building is open Tuesday to Saturday from mid-July until January 1. Otherwise, the building is open Monday to Friday. Groups may arrange to visit while the building is closed to the public.
